Culture & Community

 Alchemist

For much of my life, I searched for language.

Language to understand my identity and the experiences that felt difficult to name, yet impossible to ignore.

My background in psychology, education, and culture studies, combined with years spent leading work in belonging, employee engagement, and non-profit board service, has given me opportunities to explore how people make meaning of themselves, their work, and one another.

To be honest, my own efforts to live more fully have been shaped less by finding answers and more by the relationships I've cultivated along the way. The people who challenged me, witnessed me, and invited me to consider bigger questions about who we are, how we relate, and what our lives are ultimately asking of us.

Connect with me.

Through both personal and professional reflection, I explore what helps people feel seen, valued, connected, and capable of meaningful contribution. I'm particularly interested in the ways our assumptions, experiences, and relationships shape how we understand ourselves and one another, and what becomes possible when we approach those interactions with greater awareness and care.

I believe organizations perform better when people flourish, and people flourish when they are treated with dignity, opportunity, and humanity.

This space is a collection of stories and reflections exploring belonging, attention, identity, work, community, and the relationships that shape who we become.

Why This Work Found Me

Belonging at Work

“Belonging is both a personal and collective practice. The more compassion we cultivate for our own humanity, the more capable we become of creating communities, workplaces, and relationships rooted in dignity, care, and connection.”
